Adam joined Waterstone in 2017 as our senior in-house lawyer. He has appeared in the District, High Court and Court of Appeal on complex recovery and enforcement matters. His experience, leadership, and technical skills are significant assets to the business. As well as his legal expertise, Adam is also a licensed insolvency practitioner and manages complex insolvency appointments and restructuring assignments through to completion along with providing strategic insight on insolvency related consulting & advisory engagements.

Yen joined the Waterstone team in 2018, taking on the role of Finance Manager. Holding memberships with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, as well as being an FCA in Ireland, she contributes an extensive background of over two decades in international finance management. Her rich experience spans across diverse industries, including retail and services, with footprints in Ireland, Hong Kong, and New Zealand.

Michael joined Waterstone as one of our Insolvency Officers. He has a BCom in Accounting and Commercial Law from the University of Auckland. He previously worked at a well-respected Parnell accounting advisory firm. Michael is involved in business sales, restructuring and forensic analysis. His work ethic is an asset to Waterstone.

Kelly joined Waterstone in March 2021 as a Law Clerk. She was admitted as a Solicitor and Barrister of the High Court of New Zealand in October 2021. She is part of our in-house legal team of 3. Kelly graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Law and LLB from University of Pretoria (South Africa). She has had multiple Court appearances in the District and High Court, as well as an appearance in the Court of Appeal. She is passionate about the niche area that is Insolvency Law. Outside of work Kelly is a lover of sport, series and Star Wars.

Peter joined Waterstone in 2009 after having graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce and LLB from Victoria University. In his time at Waterstone, Peter took several appointments as a Liquidator, while also providing internal legal guidance on a matters including litigation opportunities and security disputes. Following a long hiatus in Canada, Peter is back in a consulting capacity and manages Waterstone’s interests in Christchurch.
